Special-K is an avant-garde musician and artist. Her music has been described as "depresso pop bangers" and “sarcastic baby pop”. Coming from a background of visual arts and classical music, she combines different elements like pop culture, fashion and poetry to create a universe of her own.
Released via Street Pulse Records on May 15th 2020, ‘LUnatic thirST’ is Special-K’s fresh bouquet of glaced ennui wrapped in ornate melodies with medieval-meets-modern instrumentations. If her debut album I Thought I’d Be More Famous by Now was a teenager, then LUnatic thirST is the adult. The introspection drills deeper, grave and genuine but not without a sly tinge of sass.
